So now, you have a "Mythic" mode which is just another way of saying "Legendary All Skulls On". Since the campaign was significantly easier than the previous installments, I felt it necessary to raise the bar a notch. The concept of "Mythic Difficulty" first originated with Halo 3. If you haven't popped the Headmaster achievement already and you want to make life easier on yourself, you might want to get it done and dusted before the method is gone for good. Sadly, as announced by Halo's senior community manager John Junyszek, the tank gun will be patched out of Halo Infinite with Season 2, which kicks off on May 3rd. This gun can be used throughout the rest of the game, though if you drop it for another weapon, it can disappear indefinitely, so make sure you hold on to it for your LASO run! Maka91 has an excellent and to-the-point video guide on how to get the gun here. ![]() This weapon has infinite ammo, can kill most standard enemies in one or two shots, and deals no recoil damage. Right at the end of the barrel, you should be able to pick up the tank gun while crouching. Instead, grapple your way up the crashed frigate, which should be to the right of you, and climb on top of the furthest-forward anti-aircraft gun. Once the hangar doors open, you've cleared the area of enemies and called in the Pelican, don't climb aboard. How to unlock the tank gun in Halo InfiniteYou can find the 'tank gun' by playing through the third mission of the game, Outpost Tremonious. This method involves a glitch that gives you an extremely overpowered weapon for the rest of the game. However, not long after Halo Infinite was released, players soon found a method that made the LASO run and unlocking the Headmaster achievement a doddle. As we all know, LASO runs are incredibly demanding, so this achievement is a tough one to pop. The Headmaster achievement requires you to complete all of Halo Infinite's main missions on the Legendary difficulty setting with all Skulls active.
